COPPER QUEENS TO PLAY NORTHERN IRELAND

The Copper Queens will play the Republic of Ireland on Thursday, June 22, at Tallaght Stadium in Dublin as part of a preparations for the FIFA Women’s World Cup in an international friendly match that FAZ has secured.

In an attempt to prepare the Copper Queens for the tournament, FAZ General Secretary Adrian Kashala says no stone will be unturned as high level friendly matches will be organised for the team.

He was quoted making the statement below:

“FAZ has yet again lined up a top-level preparatory fixture for the Copper Queens against top opposition in Republic of Ireland. We are grateful to the Republic of Ireland for accepting to play us as part of preparations for both teams for the World Cup.”
