TRIDENT FC MEAN BUSINESS

Trident FC took to their FB page to announce major developments the club is undertaking so as to meet the required standards to compete in MTN FAZ Super League. Below is the full statement released by the club President Mr. Mainza Mazuba:

“Trident Football Club can confirm that temporal rehabilitation works have commenced at the Sentinel grounds in Kalumbila in a bid to uplift the facility to the minimum standard approved for Super Division football by the Football Association of Zambia come August 19th, 2023.”

“The works are fully sponsored by FQM Trident Limited as it is the wish of the mining company to see Trident Football Club playing their Super Division matches within Kalumbila. On the other hand, construction of a permanent stadium will begin later this year as pledged by the General Manager of FQM Trident Limited, Mr Junior Keyser.”

“Kalumbila Town Development Corporation Limited (KTDC) in conjunction with Trident Foundation Limited (TFL) and EduCore Services Zambia Limited will undertake the works which will see the construction of change rooms, a grandstand, media rooms, perimeter fence erected, resizing of the pitch to approved FAZ standards while the playing surface will be dressed in FIFA certified grass.”

“We are trying so hard to ensure that the facility is ready by next month before the start of the new season.”
